Crispy mussels snack
On Christmas Eve, with the menu planned or not, there is always room for a last-minute snack. Especially if we find a delight like the one that Silvia (Mi dulce tentación) sends us.
In this case, the “temptation” is salty rather than sweet, but of course, you cannot resist these crunchy snacks with pickled mussels.
Ingredients
- Rice paper - 2 sheets
- Creamy mussel paste or creamy cheese spread - 2 tablespoons
- Pickled mussels
- Sesame and chia seeds
Instructions
- Mix the mayonnaise with the mussel cream or cream cheese until you get a uniform cream.
- Cut the rice paper wafers into 4 parts and fry them in plenty of oil. When taking them out, drain them on absorbent paper.
- Place a spoonful of the cream on top of each rice paper and a mussel on top of it.
- Sprinkle the seed mixture.
- Eat it immediately to enjoy the contrast of textures.
