Branch tomato salad with tuna neck and Basque chillies
Only very few quality ingredients are needed to enjoy. Proof of this is the delicious branch tomato and tuna neck salad that Paquita sends us. When summer arrives, there is nothing like a good tomato with Tuna and some Basque chillies ... And if we also use one of the most special parts of the tuna, such as the neck, is just an indescribable enjoyment!
The neck is one of the most unknown parts of the Tuna, and we are one of the few conservatives who keep this tradition intact. Together with the belly, it is one of the most exquisite parts of our beloved “thunnus allalunga” and is at an intermediate point of juiciness and smooth texture between the loins and the belly.
In addition, Paquita takes care of every detail of this salad, simple but delicious, with pink Himalayan salt, a touch of pepper ... So if you want ideas of second courses to accompany this salad, and don’t miss her Instagram account @paquitaligero, a window open to your kitchen.
